1) Someone I know isn't on the Retrospec app any longer, and I'm trying to pretend that it doesn't bother me, but it's bothering me a great deal.

2) My birthday is March 1, a little under a month from now, and if I don't tell someone then I'll keep it a secret until it's too late, so I'm trying to undercut that by saying something well in advance.

1) Sort of. It's someone I used to consider a confidant, of sorts. It's hard to confide in someone who lacks the capacity to perceive the things that are bothering you, to begin with.

2) No. Just saying I want someone to know. I'm not trying to drop hints or anything like that.

1) That's true. He does. He was building me a motorcycle, and he got it finished for me, too.
